Accreditation

If you as an employer do NOT require any migrants, this applicatin would NOT be applicable for you. This application is only for Employers who wish to supplement their current work force with skills and experience not readily available in New Zealand.

Accreditation is split into three categories;

  • Employers who wish to employ up to 5 migrants
  • Employers who wish to employ over and above 5 migrants
  • Franchise companies
  • Labour hire companies

The company is required to submit information regarding their financial viability and sustainability, evidence of training and upskilling their work force, assisting migrants with settlement in the work place and in New Zealand, and that they are an ethical employer.

Other specific requirements depend under which category that you as the employer are able to apply.

Accreditation will be granted for a period of 12 months, renewable each year and extended depending on you as an employer complying with the requirements, and thus allowing the Employer to attract employees from overseas.  Information and details about the Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV) are here.

We offer an additional full Compliance Package for any of the three Accreditation options as Compliance with the Instructions is required and must be evidenced to maintain your accrediation status the following years.

Accreditation will be mandatory for ALL employers who employ or wish to employ migrants. When a company is not accredited, they are NOT able employ migrants!
